The winter is bidding us goodbye & the sun's on its way

Well I hope everyone had a good Christmas & New Year & you are all looking forward to the new season, which is now only weeks away. The park will open on Monday the 1st March at 9am. When you will once again be able to take advantage of your Holiday Home, the stunning views, the great outdoors & unwind in a real Country Retreat, here at The Chantry in the heart of the North Yorkshire Country Parks.

New Laundry for 2010 We are currently upgrading the laundry, which will have two new washers, dryers & public phone. After having being noted from the customer survey forms where it was suggested it was long overdue a makeover, we hope you will enjoy the new laundry & it will help to make laundry less tiresome.

Landscaping for 2010  When you visit the park over the next few weeks you will hopefully notice the improvements to the entrance of the park, especially around the cottage. This we hope will give better access to the laundry & toilet block.

Just a Thought  With the current low interest rates affecting the buying power of the pound in Europe, many families are looking to holiday in the UK. The low interest rates has also seen many savers spending more on goods such as cars & Hoilday Homes. The demand is now exceeding supply & New Holiday Home Production is not able to keep up with demand. With foresight we placed our retail orders well in advance during the Holiday Home Shows in September, however we were unable to place orders to upgrade & add to our Holiday Fleet which is based at Par Sands in Cornwall. So we are now looking for good quality 12ft units to add to our fleet in time for Easter. If you would like to take advantage of this, please contact Damian on 01969 622372.

Events for 2010 at The Chantry & Beyond We have compiled some events for throughout the 2010 season here at The Chantry, kicking off with a Cheese & Wine Reception  to welcome our owners back, this will hopefully give you an opportunity to catch up with fellow owners & staff alike, we look forward to seeing you on the 6th March 2pm. The coming events will include Easter Fun Day, Cricket Match & BBQ & Hog Roast to name a few, why not bring family & friends to join in the fun. A full Events Calendar will be sent to you along with other news, & details of a New Referral Scheme during February, so please keep you eye on the post. Also new for 2010 will be a monthly Events update for both here at The Chantry & surrounding area, we hope this will help you to make the most of your stays here at Chantry during the coming season. Details will be displayed in the office, on the website & via post.
