Buying with Park Leisure

Will you part exchange my tourer?

Yes, if you've decided to upgrade from touring home to static we'll work out a part exchange deal specifically for you. Just speak to one of our on-park team members for more details.

Can I move my holiday home onto your park?

If you are an existing caravan owner on another park but are unhappy with your current location, we will happily consider the relocation of your current holiday home to a Park Leisure park.

A full appraisal of your current holiday home will be required and a full move-on quotation be supplied (including charges for disconnections, collection, transportation, delivery and re-connection)

Alternatively we can also offer a quotation to part exchange your holiday home with us, and start afresh. Please feel free to contact your chosen park who will be delighted to discuss further.

Do we have to find our own finance?

No, Park Leisure works in partnership with a number of major lenders including Barclays and Black Horse Finance (part of the Lloyds Banking group).

Our sales teams are on hand to discuss financing options and arrange for quotations upon request. 

Do Park Leisure holiday homes come with a warranty?

Yes, we offer we offer a market leading warranty on across all our holiday homes as standard; 5 years on new and 2 years on pre-owned.

Do you have any practices in place to protect me and my holiday home?

In addition to having 15 years experience of delivering excellence as standard, Park Leisure and our holiday parks are proud members of the British Holiday & Home Parks Association, so you can rest assured that an approved licence agreement is in place.  

As an owner how easy is it to upgrade my holiday home?

Upgrading with Park Leisure is simple, hassle free and more affordable than you might think. A member of the Park Leisure team will discuss how to go about this as part of your welcome meeting.

I already own a holiday home at another holiday park, will I be able to part-exchange to a holiday home you have on your park?

Absolutely. We will always happily consider a part-exchange, so please bring specific details of the holiday home you own with you when you visit the park so that we can give you an indication of the allowance we will give towards your new purchase

Our Parks

Can I let friends and family use my holiday home?

Yes of course, however we expect any guests at your holiday home to abide by the park rules, and as an owner you will be held responsible for the behaviour of all guests you allow to use your holiday home.

Do you allow subletting on your parks?

Generally, no. Park Leisure prides itself on operating a strict owners only policy across our holiday parks, the only excepotions are Par Sands (Cornwall) and Brynteg (North Wales).

At Par Sands, a small allowance is given to holiday rentals via a managed sublet scheme. For more details concerning this, please contact a member of our sales team at the park.

Do you allow pets on your parks?

Yes, as an owner we welcome your well-behaved pets at all Park Leisure parks. We do however insist on guidelines which must be adhered to out of respect for fellow owners.

How long are your parks open for?

All our parks are proud to open for 12 months of the year.

May I live at any of your parks?

Unfortunately not - all of our parks hold holiday licences and as such are for holiday home purposes only and may not be used as your residency.

How much are the annual site fees?

The site fee varies from park to park. Please feel free to contact your chosen park who will be delighted to provide further details.

What are the other running costs I need to consider?

In addition to the annual site fees, you must also allow for the necessities of insurances and utilities; metered electricity, metered or bottled gas and rates.

It is an essential part of our ethos to always aim to keep these as low as possible, however costs are often dictated by external market forces.

How long may I keep my holiday home for?

This varies from park to park, whilst we do not have any strict policy in place there are a number of other mitigating factors that need to be considered.
