Nestled right in the shores of St Austell Bay, Par is just a short stroll away from a picturesque village and fishing port surrounded by several friendly pubs, shops and restaurants as well as scenic coastal walks and cycle paths. Nearby Fowey, between Looe and Mevagissey, boasts an excellent selection of quality shops and galleries if you want to explore a little further afield.

The world-class Eden Project is just outside of St Austell and should not be missed; a fantastic, educational and fun day out for all the family. Near Helston you’ll find the fabulous Flambards Experience, a theme park offering fun for all ages, while the Lost Gardens of Heligan is one of the most mysterious estates in England and definitely worth a visit. If you’re fond of Cornwall’s famous beaches, Par Beach, just a minute away from park, is one of the largest beaches in South Cornwall yet the shallow waters are recognised as being safe for family bathing, and ideal for surfing.
