Luxury Static Caravan Holiday Park on the unspoilt and breathtaking Cornish Coast

Par Sands ‘hot rocks’ with a new development

Par Sands will soon be the home of a new £400,000 purpose built cafe after it was announced that Park Leisure has won the tender to build and operate.

Park Leisure’s winning tender for the cafe is a two storey environmentally considered building with a solar heat recovery system. The building will boasts a large terrace on the second storey, which has disability access provided by a lift.

Our plans also include an education suite for local schools, residents and visitors which will include the history of the area, a full tourist information suite and free use of sand friendly wheelchairs.

It is hoped that the building will be used as a state of the art cafe during the day-time with local sourced food and a ‘hot rock’ style bistro in the evening, where visitors will be able to bring their own alcohol to have with their meal.

The cafe will employ four local full time members of staff, seasonal staff and two local apprentices chefs for 12 months.

James Gourlay, Area Manager of Par Sands, said: “We have decided to invest in this exciting new development because we have a vested interest in giving something back to locals. Not only will this new facility benefit our owners, but also local residents and visitors to the beautiful town of Par.”

Development is scheduled to commence on the new build mid-2012.
