Dear Owner,
Snow Has Gone and the Sun’s on Its Way
Well I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and New Year and that you are all looking forward to the new season which is now only days away. The park will open on Monday the 1st of March at 9am.
New For 2010
Before the first of March the new entrance barrier will have been installed and every owner will have a coded key for entry to the park after office hours. All fobs must be collected and signed for from the park reception and additional fobs can be ordered. This barrier will improve night time security onto the park but will remain open during office hours. Until you receive your fob please only visit between 9am and 7pm.
Wireless Internet on Its Way
We are currently negotiating with a major company to install internet on all of the Park Leisure Parks more details will follow as soon as we have firm dates for the installation.
Twyn Ghyll Store
As many of you may already know Tom and Jean have retired after three great years and I would like to thank them for all their hard work in running the shop.
I am delighted to announce the relaunch of the Twyn Ghyll store.. The new times are listed below, with the shop opening the week before Easter. Please do call in and say hello and more importantly use the shop as much as you can.
Shop Opening Hours will be;-
Monday – Wednesday 9.00am – 1.00pm
Thursday – Sunday 9.00am – 1.00pm 4.00 – 8.00pm
As you know the last eighteen months have seen many changes in the way people in England enjoy their leisure time. With the current low interest rates affecting the pound's buying power in Europe many families have looked to England to holiday. The low bank interest rates have also seen savers sick of low returns and they are now spending on products like new cars and also Holiday Homes.
As with used cars demand is now exceeding supply with the November issue of the Glasses guide stating, due to lack of availability all used values have increased again.
New Holiday Home production has been unable to cope but luckily our retail orders were placed well in advance at the caravan show in September.
Unfortunately we have been unable to place our usual hire fleet order for our holiday park in Cornwall, Par Sands. Due to the increase in families holidaying in England we had hoped to not just replace ten older units but also add on to the fleet by an extra five.
If you wish to take advantage of this current situation please call at the office as soon as possible. We are looking to have the units in place in Cornwall a week before Easter.
