At Park Leisure, charity is a vein that runs deep within our business. Over the years, we have raised money for various charities and have lost count of the number of fundraising events and challenges we have held.
We know that now more than ever, it’s incredibly important that we support our charities and help give back to local communities, which is why instead of just choosing one charity for the whole business to support, we made the decision for all of our parks to choose and support their own local charities.
This way, we can help support and raise awareness for multiple charities, each with a personal touch to all of our park teams.
Longest Day Golf Challenge!
Our General Manager Jon at Malvern View raised just over £12,000 in July, by taking part in Macmillan Cancer Support's Longest Day Challenge.
Charity Walk Success!
During October, our Yorkshire Dales and Chantry parks completed a successful charity walk in which over £1,000 was raised for their two charities, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Saving Yorkshire's Dogs.
310km in October!
Vicky from Pentire completed the October Steps Challenge, walking 310,000 steps in 31 days to raise money for Sands. Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK.
Getting Spooky for Cornwall Air Ambulance!
