Kilnsey Park Estate

Kilnsey Park Estate Fly Fishery is situated in the spectacular surroundings of Upper Wharfedale. This family-run fishery has been operating since 1978 and we like to think they’re improving with age.

The two spring fed lakes for fly fishing are open all year round, well-stocked with hard fighting fish from 2lb to 20lb+.  This fishery is an accredited TROUTMASTER water.

For those new to fishing Kilnsey is a great place to learn, either at one of their popular fishing events or on the fun fishing ponds.  They also have a family fun fishing pond which is the perfect introduction to catching your first fish.

Skipton Fishing

The Embsay Reservoir is located above the village of Embsay, near Skipton. It is owned by Yorkshire Water, and is used to supply water to the north and west of Skipton. It is the clubs flagship venue holding large numbers of good sized trout and a great spot for Fly fishing (plenty of casting space). Unlike most game fisheries, float fishing with worm & minnow and spinning are permissable too, however the use of ground bait or loose feeding is strictly prohibited.
