To celebrate National Beer Day on 15th June, we’re taking a look at some breweries, and locally brewed beers close to our parks. With shops to visit, brewery tours to experience, and many local pubs serving up their brews, we'd love you to show your support for these local businesses.
Located in Masham, North Yorkshire, Black Sheep have been producing award-winning beers since 1992 when Paul Theakston left his family brewery, T&R Theakstons to set up his own brewery. Housed in an old maltings overlooking the town, visitors can enjoy dining at their very own Bar & Kitchen, browsing their range of products in the shop, or finding out how their beers are brewed when their brewery tours return. Alternatively, take a trip to Leeds or York to try their products in their recently acquired pubs.
In the heart of the National Park is Yorkshire Dales Brewing Co, who, for over 15 years have been inspired by the towns and landmarks in the surrounding area to name their beers after.
