Thinking of getting away from it all and enjoying a relaxing Christmas? What's better than a Christmas Caravan break in Cornwall! Whether it’s in your own holiday home or in one of our cosy holiday caravans it’s a great way to escape for a break over the festive season.
Cornwall might not be the first place you think of going for your Christmas break, but with plenty going on at local attractions there’s plenty to for both the kids and the grown-ups to get everyone in the festive spirit.

Every December the small village of Mousehole becomes a huge draw for both tourists and locals. The quaint fishing village lights up for the festive season, with some quirky Christmas lights covering the harbour, hillside and lots of the local cottages. The many lights signal the start of the Christmas period for many and really get that warm, fussy Christmas feeling going. Make sure you wrap up warm and get there early and grab some fish and chips ready for the switch on!
Just 30 minutes from our Oyster Bay park, Camel Creek is a big hit with many of our holiday home owners. With plenty of rides and things to see and do, Camel Creek is great at any time of the year. From the end of November Camel Creek add Christmas activities to their schedule, including meeting Santa, the Elf Express and Mulled Wine on the menu.
Discover The Lost Gardens of Heligan, with events all year round. A rediscovered paradise for explorers, plant enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. The Gardens hold a range of events over Christmas, including Christmas fairs with the best of local producers, artisans and makers, Christmas lunches and of course visits to Father Christmas!
10 minutes from our Par Sands park The Eden project is always a big hit all year round with both our holiday home owners and our holiday makers. A must visit in Cornwall, as well as the giant biomes, the Eden project host events throughout the year, including some great festive events. From performances, light displays and Christmas fairs to an ice rink and Santa there’s something for all the family at the Eden Project at Christmas. Plus, you can pick up some great eco-friendly Christmas gifts at the same time!
Not fussed about the weather and still want to make the most of the great outdoors? Tamar lakes is great any time of year, a short drive from our Pentire park you can indulge in some fishing, canoeing, paddle-boarding or just spend the day by the water! Great for those that love the outdoors, even in the middle of winter!
This picturesque harbour town is a must see for the day in any season. Over the festive period the locals and a few brave holiday makers join in with the traditional British boxing day swim. Taking part isn’t for the faint hearted but it’s sure to be entertaining for those cheering people on from the shore.
Cornwall has over 400 miles of stunning coastline, and if you don’t mind a little bit of the great British weather then there’s plenty to explore even throughout winter, with the added bonus of it being a bit quieter on the routes. In winter nearly all the beaches are opened up to our four-legged friends after the busy summer season so it’s the perfect time to take your pooch away for a break too! However, if you prefer the warmer weather, Par beach next to our beautiful Par Sands park is open all year round for our four-legged friends so if winter isn’t for you, your pooches will be happy anytime of year!
