Looking for an easy Halloween gift that adults and kids alike will love? Look no further than this adorable mason jar full of ghost lollipops! This is a simple and quick idea for all the Halloween lovers out there, and another excuse to go out and buy some extra sweets (as if you needed one). Simply cut 4x4 squares of white cotton, drape over the top of a lollipop and tie with a piece of string. Dab on the eyes with some black fabric paint or a paint pen and you’re ready to stick your mini ghosts into your jar.
This cool Halloween centrepiece that closely resembles a plume of bats flying through branches is a quick, easy craft that anyone can make in 20 minutes or less. Simply fill your vase with foam and wedge your chosen twigs and branches evenly until you find the arrangement you like best, covering the foam with autumn leaves. Tie a piece of black ribbon into a double knot onto each of the branches, dispersing them and making sure they are all pointed in slightly different directions. To finish, make two dots using white paint for the eyes. Simple yet spooky!
What can be simpler or cheaper than this? The perfect activity to do with your children, and afterwards they can be put on display on your doorstep as your own little pumpkin patch!
An eerie flicker is a must for Halloween! Paint left over wine bottles in Halloween colours and once they are dry, insert a candlestick in each bottle. Light the candles and let the wax drip down the sides of the bottle. The messier, the better!
Another great one to do with your children. This only requires LED lights, plastic cups in multiple colours (or you can paint them) and a black marker. Draw the faces on the upside-down cups, put them over the tea lights, and ta-da! Line them up along your windowsill for a spooky glow, both day and night.
Filled with cider, a hollowed-out pumpkin becomes an organic punch bowl, as well as a great decorative piece. Plus, it is one less thing to clean up at the end of the night!
Take a seat – if you dare! Simply drape a white sheet over a rounded chair and cut out eyes and a mouth using black card. Stick in place and sit down in the spookiest seat around.
