Make your own movie snack tray

Make your own ‘night out’ to the movies at home with this DIY movie snack box. It’s the perfect addition to any family movie night, the kids will love it and it means you won’t be getting up for snacks for them every 5 minutes throughout the movie. You could even make a just for grown ups box with your favourite tipple in!

You will need:

• Empty cereal box
• Scissors/Stanley knife
• Wrapping paper
• Cellotape
• Glue
• Popcorn tub
• Small Tupperware
• Drink
• Goodies to fill your snack box

• Step 1: Open up your cereal box along one of the joins so that you can lay it flat. This will make it much easier to work on.
• Step 2: Trace around your drink bottle, popcorn tub, and a small Tupperware (that can be used for any other snacks)
• Step 3: Cut out these spaces with scissors, or a Stanley knife if you have one.
• Step 4: Using the glue, stick your box back together – you can also use Cellotape for this if you don’t have any other glue.
• Step 5: Wrap your snack box in nice wrapping paper, making sure to leave the holes where the containers will sit.
• Step 6: Add in your boxes, they should sit nice and snuggly in the holes you’ve created.
• Step 7: Finally, add your tasty snacks and enjoy your movie night!
