This bank holiday weekend, quench your thirst with a refreshing glass of sangria! Whether you’re on-park, at home, or with friends, this cocktail is a great drink to whip up for all occasions.
Sangria traditionally comes from Spain but has become a favorite across the world. Traditionally in Spain, sangria can be made from a range of local fruits such as pears, peaches, nectarines, and berries. Our recipe below uses traditional oranges but why not try using some different fruits of your own? You can even add brandy for a more traditional sangria taste!
RED SANGRIA
Prep time: 10 mins
Serves: 6
INGREDIENTS
4 oranges
1 bottle of light red wine
175ml brandy (optional)
5 tbsp caster sugar
Ice to serve
METHOD
