Time To Bubble Your Troubles Away: Behind the Scenes at Park Leisure’s Luxury Spas

If we said ‘relaxation’, what sort of activities spring to mind?

We’re sure that a spa day would be pretty high up on that list.

Spa days mean ambient tranquility and a well-earned opportunity to refresh and re-energise.

So if you’re looking to indulge and unwind this National Spa Week, you want to do it right - by treating yourself to the perfect Park Leisure relaxation day.

Is it time to bubble your troubles away in our hydrotherapy pool? Or let those stresses melt away in the Scandinavian pine sauna?

You could have life’s everyday aches eased away with one of our luxury treatments… or perhaps relax those muscles in our detoxifying steam room and tepidarium.

Those aches and pains aren’t meant to be the norm. Experience the Park Leisure treatment: let’s take a look at the 5-Star facilities and treatments on offer at our exclusive North Wales spas, Brynteg and Plas Coch.

Scandinavian Pine Sauna: Melt Those Stresses Away

It’s the centerpiece of any self-respecting spa facility - and ours certainly step up to the 5-Star mark! The special Scandinvian sauna promises a detoxifying, bliss and re-energising experience.

Immerse yourself in the 75°C dry heat detox. The health benefits of a 15-minute sauna session are well documented and abundant: increased circulation, stress relief, toxin flush, improved cardiovascular performance to name but a few, and even help with weight loss!

Treatments: Pamper and beautify

“Our aim is to provide you with exceptional treatments using top-quality products and excellent customer service, in a relaxing and welcoming environment.”

That’s the treatment ethos at Plas Coch, in case you were wondering!

Experience the VIP lifestyle with one of the many luxury treatments on offer in our dedicated treatment rooms. With a full catalogue of beauty, body, nails, eyes, and waxing treatments, we’re absolutely certain that we’ll have a therapy or two that are exactly what you have in mind!

Hydropool: Wash Your Worries Away

This state of the art pool offers something quite different from your ordinary jacuzzi. Running at a constant 35°C, the shell-shaped hydrotherapy pool works to invigorate you by delivering tingling water therapy and massages.

The pool’s pretty magic; it’s a whole-body experience that relieves tension in your limbs and aches in your muscles. Did you know that the pool can help to manage conditions such as arthritis?

Steam Room: Feel Yourself Detoxify

The heat and humidity in this luxury steam room - similar to that of a rainforest - conveys many proven benefits. Whilst a sauna uses dry heat, our steam uses moisture.

Our steam room works its magic quickly - you’ll only need 15 or so minutes, but you’ll be feeling the benefits much longer. These can include reduced stress, increased metabolism, alleviated pain, as well as injury prevention! It’s also been shown that a steam room can help to ease the symptoms of a cold.

The benefits are also aesthetic - steam rooms can boost your complexion!

Tepidarium: Let Those Muscles Loose

You might not be familiar with a tepidarium, but it’s yet another state-of-the-art feature of the Brynteg or Plas Coch spa experience. Feel the stress melt away as you lounge on our warm, mosaic-tiled beds. A tepidarium - a warm bathroom from Roman times - uses heat from a hypocaust or underfloor heating system.

The slight humidity, gentle heat and accompanying music make our tepidariums an experience that touches many of the senses. The constant, gentle heat of the room has been shown to benefit the human body and induce pleasant feelings - a key component of the luxury spa experience Park Leisure offer.

There’s so much more to discover, too - our foot spas, mud rooms and atmospheric showers are designed to ensure that you finished your spa day feeling and looking your absolute best!

Time To Treat Yourself?

Why not make exclusive access to these state-of-the-art spa facilities part of your life? Our beautiful Brynteg spa is open only to park owners and holidaymakers, and Plas Coch’s luxury spa is open only to members of our ownership community.

If you’re interested in booking a short break or becoming an owner, discover more details about Brynteg Coastal & Country Retreat. If you’re thinking of owning a holiday home at Plas Coch, discover everything else that the park has to offer!

Don’t settle for anything less than a 5-Star spa day. You know you deserve it!
