This year has been a big year for cycling in Yorkshire. First we had the Tour de Yorkshire in May, and now the UCI World Cycling Championships is taking over from 22nd-29th September.
With Harrogate acting as the epicentre of activity, the routes travel far and wide across Yorkshire through towns and cities across the region including Ripon, Bradford, Northallerton, Leyburn and Beverley.
To celebrate this much-anticipated week, there’s no better place to be than at Park Leisure. We have four luxury parks across Yorkshire, all ideal bases for our holiday home owners to experience the UCI races. Allerthorpe, Chantry, Littondale and the Yorkshire Dales are all perfectly placed to get a piece of the action. Then if you fancy a break from it all, you can explore the surrounding Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From winding walking routes to dreamy picnic spots and classic village pub lunches, there’s always something to do nearby!
If you’re looking for a short break and aren’t a holiday home owner at Park Leisure , our beautiful Littondale park offers great holiday options for short breaks. This stunning location offers spectacular scenery and tranquil surroundings, as well as abundant opportunities to discover charming villages, far-reaching landscapes and cascading waterfalls.
