Get active at the Conway Outdoor Centre

From simple survival skills to adventurous activities, Conway Outdoor Centre has the ultimate fun factor and there’s something for all abilities and ages from 8-17 years.

Here at Plas Coch we are proud to partner* with the Conway Outdoor Centre who have 35 years of experience in outdoor activities and taught by a team of highly experienced leaders who pride themselves on providing activities in a safe and fun environment, giving parents peace of mind whilst they enjoy a day at the spa!

Only 5 minutes away from park, activities include kayaking, mountain biking, gorge scrambling, surfing, via ferrata and much more.

Activities must be pre-booked with the Leisure team 2 weeks in advance and the complimentary Conway Centre mini-bus will pick the children up from the front of The Manor House.


Plas Coch offers an ideal location for learning to windsurf, with shallow waters and calm conditions the environment could not be any better suited. Why not be adventurous and challenge yourself to something new!


Whether you're looking for a great family day out, surfing lessons for the kids, or you already own your own wetsuit and board we have something for you.


Enter another world as you explore the water surrounding our parks. Kayak adventures are suitable for all ages and abilities, so it's the perfect opportunity to try something new.

Gorge Scrambling

Anglesey is ideal for mixed ability groups that are prepared to get wet. Each member of the group will have plenty of opportunity to push themselves, as far as they feel happy to, as well as encouraging others to do the same.

Climbing Wall

Build confidence with the climbing wall at the Conway Centre. With qualified instructors on hand, the climbing wall is suitable for a range of ages and abilities. Why not try a new challenge?!

Zip Wire

Stepping off the security of a platform out into space whizzing down a zip wire may not seem like the most sensible of activities but it provides participants with a huge sense of achievement.

Rock Climbing

This is an exhilarating and challenging activity; an opportunity to pit strength, courage and determination against the rock face. With qualified teachers, the pupils will learn how to recognise and control risk, and the benefits of achieving in this very adventurous activity.

High Ropes

High up among the tree tops, this set of challenges really does push the boundaries. Overcoming your natural fears is what gives the sense of achievement and release when the challenge is successfully completed.
