We Love Our Local Communities

We Love Our Local Communities

Finding your dream holiday home on one of our 11 holiday parks may be easy but falling in love with your second home and it's surrounding is the best part of holiday home ownerhship. A holiday home isn’t just the property you stay in, it’s the area and community that surrounds it. That is why we are based in the best locations and communities around the UK with fantastic local businesses, suppliers and attractions on the doorstep for our holiday homeowners.

Supporting

Local businesses

Whether it be a local café, gift shop or farmer’s market, we love everything our local communities have to offer, not only do we enjoy one of a kind experiences, items and produce but it really helps our local communities thrive – from the economy to local employment. Our owners on-park always tell us how much they love visiting the best of our local areas and we’re never bored of receiving or giving recommendations, so take a look at our local area pages to find out our favourite hotspots.

At Plas Coch we use a local business Hooten's, Hooten’s is a local family-run business just a few minutes from Plas Coch which we use for our Hampers and gifts. We recommend the café to our owners and guests and they absolutely love the produce! Families can go into the field and pick their own strawberries, raspberries, currants and gooseberries which is a wonderful experience for children and adults alike. They have their own orchards for apples and pears, and each year they have an amazing field of pumpkins for families to choose from ready for Halloween and a wonderful field of giant sunflowers to delight passers-by.

Working with us

Local partnerships

Our stunning holiday parks are not only surrounded by incredible scenery, but they all have an abundance of local attractions right on their doorstep, including picture-postcard towns and villages, family-friendly attractions, traditional pubs, great restaurants and independently owned shops.

Across all our parks, we have several local partners which we are proud to work alongside. We also love to create new partnerships, so the stunning areas in which we are located continue to thrive. We strongly believe that our owner’s and holidaymakers great experience is partly to do with all the facilities, eateries, shops and attractions that we are lucky to have nearby, so we are continuously looking for more local businesses to partner with so we can support the local community.

We have some great ways that we advertise businesses, and a few ideas on how you can help us too. If you are a business owner local to our parks and want to hear more about becoming a local partner we would love to hear from you.

Working with

Local Charities

We know that now more than ever, it’s important that we support our charities and help give back to local communities, which is why each our parks choose and support their own local charities.

Loving Local Nature...

Our parks without a doubt are in some of the most beautiful locations you’ll find in the UK and we love to help our holiday homeowners and holidaymakers in discovering the most picturesque areas located right by our parks so they can enjoy endless beauty.

With our parks having 12 month seasons whether you prefer a crisp autumn woodland walk , snow covered beach or watching the first signs of spring a holiday home with us at Park Leisure can help our holiday homeowners experience it all.

Our Wildlife...

Our parks are a hub for local wildlife – whether it be swans in our lakes, peacocks pottering around our cul-de-sacs or rare birds nesting in the trees. We embrace our local wildlife and ensure we have the right flora and fauna on-park to encourage wildlife – you may also catch us putting up bird feeders and bug hotels on occasion, too

For those real animal lovers, you may just love our Malvern View Country & Leisure Park. Home to 23 Red Deer on-park, our keeper Chris Huband at Malvern View loves to tell our guests all about the Deer and allows you to feed and interact them, at their choice.

Our Landscape...

On several of our parks we have freshwater lakes which bring an abundance of local wildlife onto our parks giving them a new home. To ensure these are the best habitats we can provide we also have yearly pond management checks to ensure our lakes are the best possible environment it can be for its residents.

Of course, when designing our flower beds and the gardens we are tactical about the flowers and trees we plant as we want to increase the number of bees, butterfly’s, insects and bugs on park as much as we can!
